      Is ABA routing number required when sending funds to my SWIFT SGD account?

      Please note that ABA routing numbers are exclusively used for domestic transfers within the US.

      If your sender requests your ABA routing number, we recommend suggesting that they initiate a SWIFT transfer from their bank instead of a local transfer.

      When initiating a SWIFT transfer, the sending bank will request a SWIFT code instead of an ABA routing number. This will ensure a successful international transfer.
