How to link and remove a transaction from a Budget?

Admin and Finance users have the ability to link and remove transactions from a budget.

Note! Only transactions made after the budget is created can be manually linked. Transactions made before the budget creation can't be linked.

How to link a transaction to a budget

  1. Go to "Transactions" tab
  2. Search for the transaction you want to link and click on it
  3. A sidebar with the particulars of your transactions will appear
  4. Scroll down to the "BUDGET" section, click on the budget name, and select the desired budget from the dropdown menu.

Note! User can tag any transaction to any budget they are part of, irrespective of the designated budget source of funds.

How to remove a transaction from a budget 

  1. Go to the "Budget" section under SPEND
  2. Pick the desired Budget 
  3. Scroll down to transactions and click on "View all"
  4. You will now be in the transactions dashboard. Find the transaction you want to remove and click on it
  5. A sidebar with the particulars of your transactions will appear
  6. Scroll down to where it says BUDGET, click on the budget name, then change the budget to "NO BUDGET"
This will remove this transaction from showing up on this particular budget and only reflect directly on the card or business account the transaction was made.
