How can I get a Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC) for transfers sent from my IDR account?

If your recipient in India is required to obtain a Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC), follow the steps below:

  1. Contact us via the Aspire app to get a Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) number and local payment bank details for your transfer. We will need 5 business days to get this information.
  2. After receiving the information from Aspire, please forward it to your recipient, who will be asked to contact the local payment bank and request Credit Advice. Please note that Credit Advice is not free.
  3. Once the Credit Advice is received, the recipient must submit it to their own bank and obtain an e-FIRC.

Any questions? Please log in to the Aspire application and contact us via the chatbox in the bottom right corner.
