Can I receive GIRO payments?

You can receive GIRO payments with your SGD Local Account details.

Take note! Aspire currently does not support sending GIRO payments from your account.

Receiving GIRO Payments

You can use your Local SGD Account to receive GIRO payments using instructions provided here. In short, to receive GIRO payments you need to:

  1. Go to the SGD Account page > See Local details.
  2. Provide these details to the sending party.
  3. If the sending party is remitting from a Non-FAST/GIRO account in Singapore, they will need to refer to the account name stated in MEPS/Local TT: Aspire FT Pte. Ltd. on behalf of Your Account Name.

Typically, GIRO payments take up to four business days to process. If you require our help to ensure the smooth transfer of incoming funds, please feel free to reach out to us with the supporting payment proof or receipt.

Additionally, we recommend that your GIRO senders include your 12-digit account number in the description of payment to prevent potential delays. For more information on the 12-digit account number, please click here.

Sending GIRO Payments


Unfortunately, we do not yet support sending GIRO payments. We are currently upgrading our infrastructure to send GIRO payments, and we would like your feedback here so that we can further prioritize this feature.
