What documents are required to open an account for an Indonesia business?

The required documents are related to identification, tax information, and business licenses.

To open a new account, you will be asked to submit the following documents:

1. Account Opening Letter

  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • Signed by at least 1 Director for approval of account opening.
  • If the appointed account admin is not a  Director, include the details of the person under the "List of Approved Persons" in the Account Opening Letter.

2. KTP Owner/Director (can be replaced by a passport for PT, CV, and PMA)
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • The full name on the identity card must be in accordance with the name in the details of the authorities.
  • Copy of Colored Director's KTP (front & rear).
3. NPWP Company
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
4. Promotion material/online store (example: social media, website)
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • Must be accessible.
  • Must be in accordance with the registered business category.
  • Must have a product/service catalog that can be purchased online.
5. (NIB) Business Registration Number
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • Business names in the NIB must be in accordance with the name of the business listed in Aspire.
6. Deed of Establishment of the Company (can be replaced by the statement of the establishment of an individual company)
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • The business name in the company deed must be in accordance with the name of the business listed on Aspire.
  • The authorised person must be recorded as the Director.
  • The issue date must be in accordance with the issue date listed on the certificate of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (SK Menkeh).
  • The deed must show the name of the director, shareholder name, NIK, and % ownership of shares (dated from 3 months).
7. All company change deed documents (if any)
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • The business name in the company deed must be in accordance with the name of the business listed on Aspire.
  • The registered authorities must be recorded as director.
  • The issue date must be in accordance with the issue date listed on the SK Menkeh.
8. SK Menkeh, also called Certificate of Ministry of Law and Human Rights ( can be replaced by a certificate of registration for the establishment of an individual company)
  • Applies to business entities/companies of individuals and foundations.
  • The business name in the company deed must be in accordance with the name of the business listed on Aspire.
  • The issuance date must be in accordance with the issuance date listed on the latest company deed.
9.  Foundation Registration Certificate
  • Valid for foundations.
  • The business name in the document must be in accordance with the name of the business listed on the Aspire.
  • Documents are not expired.
10. Other Industrial Licensing **
  • Applies to business entities/individual companies and foundations.
  • The business name in the document must be in accordance with the name of the business listed on Aspire.
  • Documents are not expired.

For admin users who have access to all features and will manage the account, you will be asked to submit additional documents in the form of

1. ID (KTP) of the Admin user

  • Color copy (front & back).
  • Selfie while holding the ID
2. Telephone number/email
