How do I use Categories for transactions?

When using Aspire you can use categories to easily classify all of your transactions, so that you have better visibility into where your money is coming and going

How can I use categories to classify transactions?

On Aspire, you can select the category when creating new transfers, bills and claims. You can  also a category to a card, so that all transactions on that card are automatically linked to the category.

Categories can also be assigned for any transaction in the main transactions list, including incoming transfers and card refunds.

 

Which categories can I select on Aspire?

Aspire has a default list of 15 categories, that are available for all businesses. You can also create new custom categories to meet the specific needs of your business.

 

How can I create new custom categories?

You can navigate to the ‘Manage categories’ screen inside the Directory options on Aspire.

You can create new categories by clicking on the ‘New category’ button on this page. You can enter the name and select an icon and color for the category you want to create.

Once created, the category will be available for you to select in the different parts of Aspire.
