What documents should the invited user provide?

You will need to submit documents pertaining to your identity, permissions, and authority within the company.

Just a tip! This is only for people added to an already opened Aspire account. For documents needed for opening an account, please check this article.

The documents you need depend on whether you have administrative and/or money transfer rights. If you're only using Aspire cards, we would only need your ID unless your company already provided it to get you set up as quickly as possible.

Additional Details for Each Document

Please note that these documents must have been created within the past three months, except for identity documents (as long as they have yet to expire). The documents can also be in one of the accepted languages by Aspire as stated at the end of this article.

  1. Your Identification
    1. All users are required to provide identification.
    2. National IDs or Passports are accepted. Driving licenses are not accepted. The picture must be clear and in colour.
    3. This is needed to verify the person signing up and to protect you against impersonation and identity theft.
  2. Your Proof of Address
    1. Admin or Finance Transfer roles are required to provide this. You do not need to provide this if your ID shows your address.
    2. The document must include your full name and address.
    3. This document can be any invoice or legal document issued by a third party, such as utility bills, phone bills, bank statements, rental agreements, contracts, etc.
  3. Your Selfie
    1. All Admin users are required to provide this.
    2. The app will prompt you to take a selfie during sign-up. If you choose to provide the selfie by email, the picture must show you holding your ID and a white paper with the word 'Aspire' written on it. 
    3. The picture must be clear and in colour.
    4. This is needed to verify the person signing up and to protect you against impersonation and identity theft.
  4. Letter of Authorization
    1. Starting in December of 2022, only non-directors invited as Admin must provide this. You do not need to provide this if you are a company director.
    2. The document must be signed by the company director. Director's signature must match the signature shown on the submitted ID. If a non-director opens the account, the document must also show their details in the dedicated section of that document.
    3. Please only use Aspire's template which you can download from this link.
