What currencies can I receive from overseas?

Aspire SGD SWIFT Account Details (requested in-app) support receiving money from abroad in the below 32 currencies. These incoming funds would then be automatically converted to SGD at preferential rates and fees (please refer to the other questions in this FAQ).

We advise that funds are sent in foreign currencies (and not SGD) to avoid unnecessary fees.

Australian Dollar (AUD)
Bulgarian Lev (BGN)
Canadian Dollar (CAD)
Chinese Yuan (CNY)
Croatian Kuna (HRK)
Czech Koruna (CZK)
Danish Krone (DKK)
Euro (EUR)
Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)
Hungarian Forint (HUF)
Israeli Shekel (ILS)
Japanese Yen (JPY)
New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
Norwegian Krone (NOK)
Polish Zloty (PLN)
Romanian Leu (RON)
South African Rand (ZAR)
Swedish Krona (SEK)
Swiss Franc (CHF)
UK Sterling (GBP)
US Dollar (USD)

We also accept Bahrain Dinar (BHD), Kenyan Shilling (KES), Kuwait Dinar (KWD), Mexican Peso (MXN), Omani Rial (OMR), Qatar Rial (QAR), Russian Ruble (RUB), Saudi Riyal (SAR), Thai Baht (THB), Turkish Lira (TRY), Ugandan Shilling (UGX), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), but not for transfers from their home country. You can still receive them from a multi-currency account in US, UK, SG etc.

If the sender wishes to send money from abroad in an unsupported currency (eg - MYR, IDR, INR, PGP, VND, etc), please ask them to convert to SGD before sending the funds. Please note that in such cases, the source bank handles the conversion and no further conversion is needed at Aspire, though a flat, transparent fee of SGD $35 would be applied.
