How do I pay a claim?

Before you can pay a claim, you will need to ensure it has been approved, this is done either by yourself or another approver. See more in How do I approve a claim.

To simultaneously approve and pay a claim at once, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your claims dashboard, "Claims" under SPEND
  2. Click on a "Pending review claim"
  3. Click on that claim and assess
  4. Click "Approve"
  5. Click "Approve and Pay now"

To pay a claim/claims already approved, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your claims dashboard, "Claims" under SPEND
  2. Click on a "Pay approved claims" at the top or click on any claim in your dashboard with the status "Pending payment"
  3. Click on the claim directly and assess
  4. Click "Approve/Reject" 
  5. Click "Approve and Pay now"

A wide range of users is able to pay claims with your Aspire Account.

  • Admin users can pay any claim at anytime
  • Finance & Employee users can pay a claim if they are listed as a Budget owner with transfer rights within the budget that claim is set to
