How can I receive money from an account based outside of Indonesia?
You can receive transfers from abroad via SWIFT/IBAN to your Aspire IDR account. Please note that your account can only receive IDR. So all incoming funds must be converted into IDR before sending.
If you are using an FX service provider, you would want to consider if you should be entering your local account or SWIFT payment details, as the fees may vary depending on each option.
Some FX providers like Wise pay out IDR locally i.e. they make a local transfer to your account instead of making an international transfer. For such providers, you would save on fees by receiving the money directly into your Aspire IDR account via your local account details. If you’re not sure, please ask your provider.
