How can I edit a budget?

Only Admin users can edit a budget.

You can edit the following on a budget after it has been created:

  • Budget name, purpose and icon
  • Spent limit and expiry date
  • Budget owners and their transfer rights
  • Budget members 

You cannot edit the following on a budget after it is created:

  • Frequency
  • Source of funds 

To edit a budget, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Aspire account
  2. Click on Budgets under the Spend section on the left-hand side 
  3. Click on the budget you want to edit
  4. Click on edit 
  5. Make the edits you require
  6. Click update budget
